Writings, Happy or Sad!

Here's one of my favorites.

“Words”
Words and rhymes spin around in my head.
Never ceasing
tumbling
causing thoughts to race.
I become compelled to turn on the
light
in the early hours of the dark morning
and write.
I write with a vigor and a
haste that only comes
when the world is in
slumber.
Pausing to think only every once in a
while
I write.
I bleed onto the pages
turning them from snow white to
crimson red.
My heart and soul pour upon the
page
filling it as my body
empties.
Empties itself of words
feelings
emotions
passions.
Yet as soon as one line is
down, my mind fills again,
thoughts of places I have not yet been to
echo in my mind.
Thoughts of experiences I have not had
but yearn to
fill my heart.
Thoughts of the past
memories of a time gone by
fill my soul.
I am made up of words.
My thoughts are words.
My heart is words.
My soul is words.
My life is a book
begging to be written
in the early hours of
the morning
by my pen scratching across pure pages
as the world falls to silence.
