It's always said that men can be insensitive or cruel; but women can be too. I spent last weekend with a girlfriend and had an amazing time. We had met a few times before because we have a mutual friend. we went out for drinks on Friday and really hit it off. We ended up at my place for the weekend. It was incredible. I think I spent half the weekend with my face between her legs (but that's another story). However, it all came crashing down on Sunday night. Shortly after dinner she announced that she had to go because she had to work early in the morning. I suggested getting together for a movie on Tuesday night, to which she replied " No, sorry honey. It was great, but I don't do relationships" and she headed out the door. I was stunned. I thought that we hit it off and had some sort of emotional connection. If I hadn't thought that, we never would have slept together. At first I was just upset. Now, I'mangry at myself for misreading the situation. My friends have been very nice and told me to chalk it up to experience.

Yupp, women can be just as cruel. She should've mentioned that she doesn't do relationships before all of that. It definitely sucks feeling like you have an amazing connection with someone and then nothing happens. Don't be angry at yourself- you couldn't have known! I agree with your friends, everything in life happens for a reason and it's good life experience. Hopefully you find someone awesome soon who's not just in it for sex! (:

Don't blame yourself. Some people are just jerks. Just keep your head up and know that you are worth more than just some chick's fling. She is missing out on what could have been an awesome time! Its her loss not yours!
