I get the "Well you've never been with a guy so how do you know you're a lesbian?" or "You never know, you may meet the guy of your dreams someday, don't have your mind set/closed off so early" I have no attraction to guys what so ever so that's not happening. I also get from my mom, "You shouldn't be wearing those clothes" (meaning masculine clothing) but that's what I'm comfortable in. Feminine clothes aren't really my thing. I've gotten from a friend of mine that he doesn't understand how lesbians have sex, I just facepalmed.

Yeah about clothes my mom is always saying that I should change my style and wear more feminine clothes like skirts and high heels etc. It's really annoying just yesterday when I had my hoodie and snapback on she was like ''you're not a boy'' Why can't I just dress like I want and be comfy..

Exactly! I just want to be comfortable, I don't feel like myself in dresses or skirts or high heels like my sister is. I like my pants haha. They try to push me towards more feminine clothing and I'm like, "How 'bout no" and let me go to my comfy clothes section

When I was in high school I was accused of being a lesbian frequently because I had absolutely no interest in dating anyone. At the time I had no idea that I was gay and would be annoyed at the thought that just because I had no desire to date anyone I was automatically assumed gay. I would go on rants to my family and friends about it. I think what irritated me most when I started questioning at 21, was that they were right. Like I am happy being gay I was just annoyed that that was the automatic assumption when I was a teenager. It still puts me in a bad mood when I think back on it

Same here! EVERYONE kept asking me about why I wasn´t dating anyone. "But there are sooo many nice guys around! I don´t get it. Are you gay?" I actually knew that I´m gay very early on so when people made that assumption I would panic inside because I wasn´t out back then. Yet, looking back on it, I find it very annoying that people would go from "XY is not dating" to "XY must be gay" so soon.

I have another one. As a matter of fact, I just heard it the other day. A female coworker told me " all you needs to meet a nice guy". She meant weel but she doesn't get it. I know that there are nice men out there. I don't want one
