I wasn't 100% sure at first so I only told a few people I was Bi. But Once I was sure, I told my best friend, and she couldn't have been more supportive. I had mentioned to another friend I liked someone but did say it was a girl. And one day we were around my mom and she brought that up and I just said "Whhhhaaat? I never said I liked someone"
But the next week, I was in the car with my mom in the parking lot at a Post Office, and I was on the phone with my best friend, and I was telling her I was so scared to come out to my mom but she talked me into it. When my mom got back, I looked at her and said "remember when my friend said I like someone? Well... Its a girl." My mom just looked at me and yelled "I KNEW IT!!!!" I was in shock. I mean, I didn't even know it. And she told me that as long as I am happy, she is happy.
Three years later I met a wonderful girl and It was my senior year, and I wanted nothing more than to take her to Prom, and so I had to tell my dad. I just walked up to him and told him straight out that I wanted to take a girl to prom and I really like her and he said, "Well, ask her and we will buy her ticket and her seat in the limo"
My family and friends have been so accepting and I could not be happier with them. I am very lucky to have such amazing people around me.
